I received an order. I can't charge it and when I look at in on ecrater it gives me the status of
Financial State: REVIEWING
Fulfillment State: NEW
on the google side it says:
received a new order. Google has sent the customer an order confirmation email.

what in the world does that mean? and I actually haven't received payment (but) it has a ship item button...uh help :roll:
I have no idea what to do
I don't want to contact the customer other than to say, order has been received and when to expect shipment. |

Nvr mind, found out why! wow, that's pretty cool, I so do not need any charge backs! :lol:
Reason:
When Google detects questionable activity related to an order you receive, Google will mark the order with a Customer review in progress status and perform fraud detection checks on the order to reduce your exposure to risk. During this time, you won't be able to charge the order.
In general, we complete reviews within four to six hours. Certain orders posing a higher potential risk may require more time as Google specialists perform even more extensive fraud detection checks for your protection. We may also contact you directly as a backup precaution. If Google determines that an order is high-risk or doesn't comply with Google Checkout policies, the order will be cancelled for your protection and cannot be reinstated.
Once Google confirms the validity of the order, the order will display a New status. At this point, you can safely charge the buyer's credit card and ship the order. Remember to charge the order within the appropriate appropriate time frame in order to be guaranteed funds. |

| Ok. So it means that Google doesn't necessary make instant payments. It is interesting feature. |

I'm presuming you are new to GCO- you can set your account up two ways. To authorize or to authorize and charge. If your account is new, it often takes a while to figure it all out. With PayPal you just get a notice of payment, we never know when charges have been declined.
I have had authorization take a few minutes and some have taken quite a while to get approved! I believe on new accounts they hold your funds for a small period of time before they transfer it to your checking acct. |
