Has anyone had this problem in the past month? I noticed 3 items last night with no notification emails. I have no spam block on my computer. I called Paypal and of course they claimed it was my server that blocked the emails and had me add paypal to address book on outlook express. The first person i spoke to said my notifications were not set to receive emails... (from philippines) as supervisor came on the story changed to the fault being my server which had no problems with Ebay but just so happened to pick on paypal messages after 5 years of not doing it.

So in the past I have used paypal notifications as an accounting method to ship out and not using my ebay. I noticed few failed notifications but 3 in one day is bad as before it might be one a month. I think i will have to start using my ebay- sold as a better system? any advise on this?

I don't have much volume, but I have been receiving the all notices for payments okay.

Paypal seems fine here. What I have noticed though is Ebay is getting worse when it comes to notification emails. They seem to be taking longer and longer to arrive (sometimes they never do) after auction end.

I had several paypal notices fail to arrive yesterday - first time in about a year - so I had to check paypal directly. But I did get them all today - a bit late. Just an email glitch - everyone has one from time to time.

Far as ebay, they sometime arrive a little late (20-30 mins), but they do seem to arrive. I haven't missed one of these in quite some time.

Thanks for the notes, well i conformed and decided too use my ebay as shipping hub. It actually is fairly good. I did discover a few more non paypay notifications from last few days. Hopefully i did not miss any more.

Jerryb - I have a question for you concerning the Ebay shipping hub. A while back, maybe 4 or 5 months ago Ebay said they were going to quit supplying the sellers with the buyers E-Mail address. Are you getting this information? I have not been using Ebay shipping labels for this reason.

I do have to admit I don't really rely on the PayPal e-mails at all.
I am using PC-based auction management software that will extract payments from PayPal and apply them to any purchases that have been made, so I am not dependant on either the Ebay e-mail or a PayPal e-mail for when a purchase or payment is made.

The "anonymous" buyer email thing applies to buyer questions and ebay messaging - when someone writes you from ebay, you are not given their direct email any more.

But for actual completed sales, the emails are still supplied, and according to auctionbytes, there were no plans to block them.
