PayPal announced the appointment of Patrick Dupuis as its chief financial officer one day before its second annual developers conference. Dupuis was previously the global chief financial officer for Sitel, a major international call center outsourcing provider, and is a graduate of Ecole de Management de Lyon, France.
eBay's online payments subsidiary is kicking off its two-day Developers Conference called X Innovate on Tuesday in San Francisco. As AuctionBytes reported on Sunday, the company will make several major announcements on Tuesday morning, including the launch of Micropayments for Digital Goods and the launch of an Apps store to showcase third-party developer applications that use PayPal's open platform.
