My husband made a purchase on eBay tonight, and when he went to pay his PayPal account has been restricted. He does not sell, only makes purchases. They are wanting copy of DL.
He has purchased several items in the past few weeks. One seller was suspended from ebay about 2 days after he made a purchase, could this the reason? Just don't understand what has happened. :roll:
I was kind enough to pay for his purchase with my account. :lol: :lol: |

Do either of you have another account that is restricted or suspended ?? Either PayPal or eB ?
If yes, it's possible they connected the accounts.
Otherwise, who knows with those bozos.

He had an account about 3 years ago that he used for selling on ebay. He closed that paypal account when he closed his store on ebay.
He did have one tranction that went bad because of buyer not wanting to pay shipping, but he refunded the buyer.
Sad because if they do not lift the restriction he'll close that account, and wont purchase from eBay again. Most of his purchases were from the mom and pop sellers in the USA. |

True, eB seems to be cutting off their nose to spite their face with a whole lot of their goofy suspensions and NARUs.
For me, I have / had a couple of IDs not for selling but for posting and buying. But because my main account was NARU'd (for no apearent reason) I can't use those other IDs to buy either.
Like many eB sellers, I used to spend most of the money I made from eB ON things at eB. Not any more due to their arbitrary rules.
It just hurts them and the sellers in the long run by not getting those sales PLUS all the bad-mouthing that happens because of it.
Word of mouth MADE eB and word of mouth is what is taking eB down little by little.

| Well somehow my hubby got the email address of a few top VP's at paypal last night, and by 11am this morning his account was restored. He also received an email from a one of the directors of the resolution, with his email address and phone number, told him to contact him if he had any more questions. |
