I got an email from Moneybookers about this tonight and went to their site and found it. For whatever reason, Moneybookers thinks that it's decade plus of name branding isn't worth using anymore. Enter "Skrill."
Quote: › docWrite("quote")Skrill is an informal term for money, but for us it means a safe and innovative way for consumers to pay for their online goods. Skrill means flexibility. Skrill means choice. Skrill means reliability and peace of mind. Skrill makes you online safe.

I predict a 3 year crash and burn. |

| We haven't really heard 'skrill' as a slang, and it may not be a strong word for associating one's business with money, but if the service is good, the name will not be a big fuss at all. Hope things will work out well for them, because they have a strong client base. |

| I ran across Moneybookers a few months ago but I have never ever heard anynews about them. No merchants seems to patronize them and few customers have heard of them. I am really interested in a Paypal/Feebay alternative. I just no longer support their business practices. |

| Ceriousfashion, I believe some merchants and sites don't patronize Moneybookers because they require to sellers to have a real "legal papers" business. Something that a lot of little of sellers like me don't have in hands. |
