Check it out at www.robsgear.com
It's 100% free. Allows you to effectively use your regular email account when making posts on Craigslist, but not give the address (or your name) away. Also includes spam protection.
Feel free to try it out and let me know what you think. I've been using it for my own needs and have been pretty happy with it, but it was written by me, so what do I know. :p

Hello rbdrbd (Robby), and welcome to PSU. :D
How can folks be sure that your service isn't really an email harvesting operation? |

How can folks be sure that your service isn't really an email harvesting operation?Well, the privacy policy is pretty strict about how the data is used. Past that, I put my picture up there, so people can just egg my house if I go off selling their emails. :P
(But I am open to suggestions about what else I can do here, as you bring up a good point. Honestly I'm an independent developer and made the tool because I saw the need.)

I also just updated the privacy policy to make it easier to read, as well as calling it out on the front page.
Thanks for the feedback! |
