ShipRush wrote about a technical issue on Amazon.com that resulted in some merchants being suspended. According to an announcement on the ShipRush blog on Friday, Amazon began experiencing a technical issue on Thanksgiving day or the day before that delayed the import of shipment data on shipped orders.
However, Amazon continued to enforce its rule that requires fast shipping and fast sending of tracking numbers be sent to Amazon.
ShipRush said that despite the fact it was Amazon.com's problem that prevented the tracking numbers from being sent, the company suspended some merchants anyway.
"We think this is a problem, and have let Amazon know about it," ShipRush wrote, and said that Amazon's official response was that merchants affected by the issue should use the "Contact Us" link in Amazon Seller Central.
