I edited this as an update to my site's progress-
Well, I'm getting "Opening Night" jitters, so I need some more critiques of my site to let me know if you think it needs any more tweaking.
OR, should I just leave it alone?
You are all like family to me and I respect your experience and knowledge with websites and e-commerce dealings. You have taught me so much this past year. This almost feels like giving birth:
its alot of hard work but its all worth it in the end!
I'll be adding a FAQ section also. I hope it answers many of the questions that will be asked by some people. |

| What a beautiful site! I love the logo and the colours, everything flows so nicely. I love books, and am glad I have a new place to look first when I need something :D. |

See, I'm already behind in my work. |

Did you know Marge can whip out a damn good book review when she has a mind to? :D |

Oh, if you like to use Google, please use Marge's site as your start point! That can help a lot!
And if anyone sees anything looking jumbles or loading funny, please say so and say if you are using IE or Firefox or another browser.
I mixed html and css in it and I am still tweaking the browser variables. |

Okay...
I opened it in IE and it looks good.
I opened it in Firefox and the Patricia Cornwell part is off to the right. It looks like you have a broken table or something.
Here is a link to what it looks like in IE:

Here is what it looks like in Firefox

Hope that helps. |

I'm afraid that I had the same experience with FF as nanas-kitchen.
I've a thought that might be beneficial. Magnolia Belle has finally published her book. She has a site. Ms Belle's site receives a fair amount of traffic. Maybe dragonlady55 and Ms Belle would be interested in exchanging links? Maybe dragonlady55 would be interested in reviewing Ms Belle's book? It would be a good fit, and a quality in/out link for SEO purposes.

Thank you Nana & Lurkey!
If anyone can send me a print-screen with mention of whether you have your monitor set at 1024 or 800 or whatever, that helps, too.
There are subtle differences between browsers such that if you have updated frequently, some browsers actually "forgive" mistakes by using defaults that will close an open table while others show the glaring error. This is what sends web designers into therapy (yayaya-- use a code validator-- then I have to decide if the validator is updated! aaaaaargh! )
I am going in with repairs today. I am also setting up a "banner" page so people can grab a button or rectangle to make image links. When you guys tell us the site is PERFECT we will have a launch party!
Details to be announced...... hehehehe........... |

OK, I have been in the w3c code validator and I am rewriting the pages. Special thanks to Dooley who pm'd me with the kick in the butt I needed to use that tool.
:)
The validator shows errors that appear inside some of the ad code, and I am not going to try to fix those because the commissions might not track properly if I do. But I will try to fix all the layout.
So the page will always show some error numbers in the validators, but hopefully none of them will be mine.
I should be done with this part by tomorrow. |

Thank you everyone. I truly appreciate all the help you have given me.
I just listed more books. I hadn't realized how low my listings were getting.
I have to start paying more attention now. |

| I am putting links to all of Marge's sales platforms in the "things" part of "Books & Things" today, and we will have her direct sales shopping cart up this week. |

Nice review, dragonlady. Nice, nice site!
Now, what I'm really curious about is the co-op. I'm being so, so dense with this. I truly don't understand it  How does it work? The opening page is truly beautiful, the Teapot page. Very, very nice "wow" effect  |
