I've just about had it with some of the dumb Christmas commercials.
One that really frosts me is the Western Union one saying "send $50 anywhere for ONLY $5".
Like that's some big bargain !!! LOL that's 10%
At least with PP you could send that same $50 for less than 1/2 of that.
And it would be nearly instantly in your account.
I wouldn't begin to know how to pick up or "cash" something from WU. Not to mention the fraud/phishing factor of anything that even mentions WU.
Not quite as fast as PP would be a USPS money order. $0.01 to $500.00 is $1.10 plus a stamp and envelope to send it.
I suppose for people that aren't computer savy PP might be a bit more dificult. But even if you don't OWN a computer, there are enough "internet cafes" and libraries where you could log-in. And you can spend the money thru the PP debit card.
