|
|
Hi, we are very interested to find out how we can help ebay powersellers do more with less in 2011. We have a new advertising platform - annot8 that provides rich video, picture and text adverts from approximately $15 a year.
The adverts appear on over a trillion websites and take less than 5 minutes to setup?
We are looking at ways to maximise the ebay powerseller business so please let us know what you need and we will try and help you get your business found online!
Thanks
Steve |

Wow, that's a great deal for $15! Do you have a list of these trillion sites? |

Hi Schistosomiasis,
It's any site where the keywords for your campaign appear. There is no absolute total number of pages (as you probably know :D ) but Yahoo, Google and Bing all report massive differences in the size of their indexes (and they don't include content behind corporate firewalls for example). For this reason some people report a Billion and I have seen a trillion. The point is that it is any webpage. So no, I don't have the list and if I did, I doubt DropBox would be able to cope with the size of the file :D
Take a look at our FAQ's at annot8 FAQ's for more information. Shortly I will be updating the how does this work section with screenshots and videos.
Hope this helps. Thanks |

So...
A seller would pay $15/month to place an ad, but according to your FAQ people are paid to click on the ads. Is that right?
I wouldn't expect any sales to result from such advertising.
Pass. |

Hi Schistosomiasis,
It's not $15 a month, we might need to make it clearer on the FAQ's if this is what you understood. $15 is the amount you spend and that could last you 3, 6, 9 months or longer depending on your keywords.
Because you understand what the cost per click is (we have made this as transparent as possible in the pricing section), you as a business owner can budget which is not the case for an auction based system where costs/clicks change on a daily basis.
A user can only earn money from clicking on your advert once a day. So if they visit your site from 10 different websites, we will only charge you 4 cents once in a day. And you can also limit your spend. We also have fraud/abuse checks to combat click fraud. Plus, the person who clicks on the add can only earn £3 a day currently so I would not think it worthwhile for "professional" people to think about sitting all day at their screens to earn £3.
I think this provides you with a great alternative to very expensive options in comparison. |

Sorry, no.
I am paying per click, but I am paying people whose primary motivation is to make money by clicking on links, not because they are interesting in buying my products. Otherwise, why are you paying them at all?
The conversion rate for sellers will be zero or nearly so. |

| Please complete your site. We here aren't interesting in "Betas". And another "strange" bar for the browser. No thanks. |
