I do most of the shipping for my eBay store through the Paypal shipping interface, and it's very easy and effcient, since it pulls in all the info and I don't have to type in addresses and so on.

Now, having just set up my first few items on eCrater, and using Paypal to purchase, I'm wondering whether I can still use Paypal for shipping in the same way. Presumably anyone paying through Paypal will have their address info attached to their account? Or do they input the info when they purchase?

I'm quite excited to begin a non-eBay venue, but haven't used the eCrater site before at all, so I'm totally new to their procedures.

Thanks!

Jennifer

I've sold most of my items through eCrater and buyers have used PayPal and it just goes through. I get a notice that an item was sold from eCrater and then the notice from PayPal saying I have cash.

I hope this helps.

To add to Cathy's post, ANY item paid thru Paypal CAN be shipped using the same ole wonderful service that's incorporated into Paypal. So - it can be eCrater, or another site - if the buyer pays with Paypal, you can ship it!

I've gotten to the point where I send a PP Invoice (a function under request money) for every item(s) I sell. If the buyer pays with PP, it's just like a sale from ebaY - you get the ship button and "go". If the buyer send a MO or CC, then I use USPS Ship-n-Click (PM and above) or USPS Shipping Asst. for 1C, PP, MM...

Hope we've helped you out!! :D :D

The shipping will be calculated based on how you set it in the ecrater's admin tool. eCRATER does not use Paypal for shipping calculation. Paypal is only used to process your client's credit cards.
