Hello Dear readers:
We are the buybuybuy.com team. We are a new kind of online marketplace.
We help you buy and sell almost anything on www.buybuybuy.com
We strive to be a centralized place for all the best prices on the web.
We strive to be a leader in finding and providing the best prices for products of every condition for consumers from good sellers. We strive to be a fun and the most trustworthy marketplace.
Buybuybuy.com creates a speedy, reliable and cost effective way for sellers to sell and a convenient and reliable way for buyers to buy and save.
Buybuybuy charges a 2.5% commission on the final sales price. Listing items for sale is free. As a result, sellers and buyers can both save more under our friendly commission policy. Other sites charge an average commission of 10-15%, not including listing fees. These high fees are costly for business to operate.
It is a site for nice sellers and buyers.
Please try us out.
Sincerely,
Buybuybuy Team
How Buybuybuy works?
1) Buybuybuy only allows sellers to list the same items at a lower price than the lowest existing price and buyers to buy at the lowest price. For example, the first seller sets his price at $10 and the second seller can ONLY set his price lower than $10, let’s say $8, and the third seller can ONLY set his price lower than $8, let’s say $5 and Buyers can ONLY buy at $5. Once the product at the lowest price is sold out, then the product at the next lowest price will become available for sale and this process goes consequently on. In this example, once $5 sold out, and then $8 will become available for sale. If a seller is the first seller of a particular product, the seller can name any price. A seller can list the same product at more than one different price, as long as each subsequent price is lower than the previous price. As a result of these features, Buybuybuy always has products with the lowest price.
2) Products are separated into 4 to 5 categories according to the condition of the item being sold. Buybuybuy shows a table displaying all prices offered by sellers in each condition category.
3) All sellers are required to offer a return policy.
4) In order to be the most trustworthy marketplace, Buybuybuy starts all users at a rating of 100% and will close any account with a rating that falls below 90%, regardless of if it belongs to a buyer or a seller.

Good idea
Bad name
I can just see all the Bye Bye Bye comments
And I think Buy.com may be a bit concerned at your name.
But I think a selling site should have a name that appeals to buyers. |

Well I need to buy a bigger hard drive just to store all their names.
I just don't get it.
People sometimes struggle to sell on "well known, established sites" such as ebid.net, bonanza and ecrater etc, so how can they expect to sell on new unknown sites?
An dhow much money do the new site owners expect to make - hundreds ? thousands ? millions ? |

They are becoming more and more ridiculous
in trying to come up with some gimmick that
will set them apart from all the other wannabes.
I must admit though, this one is a particularly
poorly thought out concept.
In the race to the bottom, it would appear that
buybuybuy.com is geared to flop right out of
the gate.
Unlike Costner's project in "Field of Dreams",
just because you build it, they wont necessarily
come. |
