I would like to introduce my own website (co-founded) called Lifemall. We're focusing 100% on fashion - clothing, accessories, home furnishings and other soft goods.
We operate a classified model - so if you have tried other places and would like to list with us, there's really no obligation to sell. We encourage feedback and discussion in our forums and we give you your own page e.g lifemall.com/you to not only sell but tell your story.
We're not as large a network as Etsy or as personal as your own e-commerce site but we're hopefully going to help people by giving them another choice to sell online.
Email me am@lifemall.com with more specific questions, I'd be pleased to hear from you. |

Hello, I'm new to the forums.
My name is Alexander, I co-founded Lifemall, a free marketplace for Americans to buy or sell fashion and other soft goods.
We operate a "classifieds" style model, with open payment and delivery options. Our community includes forums for general discussion and Q&A.
Any feedback would be welcomed to help improve the service - we are trying to publicise the service without PR and relying entirely on word of mouth.
Alex. |

| Since you asked for feedback --- I clicked on the link and got a very bland white page with black printing. To me it wasn't very appealing. Also not a lot of information about your site and why it would be good for me to sign up. I think your site need more work if you are going to attract people. |

| I don't join anything until I can see it and review what is being sold there. I will not give information without seeing the site. |

Yeah, we're split testing the landing page and have already made changes to make it better.

We appreciate this feedback. It was a difficult decision to use the landing page as a sign-up location as opposed to product listings. We feel that asking people to join, whilst it may not be for everyone, will actually make the site more secure.
We want to make Lifemall a safe place to buy and sell things, we feel identity is a key aspect of this. Thanks for the feedback guys. |

| You're going to force buyers to sign up before showing them any products? I'm not sure that's the greatest idea for driving sales. |

Fair call. The way we see it, there's a tonne of places out there where you can buy online.
We like to think Lifemall will allow you to list things you have for sale first e.g. a sales driven marketplace. The whole approach is focused on people rather than the actual products, as in all honesty, much of the things we sell online are not that important to us. (As a new purchase would be for example)
And I suppose exclusivity is important to us too; we want people to think of Lifemall as an actual community as opposed to a standard classifieds service |

You should receive an email with a link to confirm registration within 10 minutes. Can I ask which email provider you are using? Certain providers, particularly free email, might take more time.
Edit - If you still don't receive your confirmation mail, pm me or email me at am@lifemall.com and I'll confirm it manually for you. |
