I was interested in joining ecrater but as I live in the UK, all my sales would need to be in £ sterling, not $.
I had a look in the FAQ but couldn't find anything about this.
Does anyone know if you can choose a different currency on there instead?

| i think you will find that when someone else from the uk buys then it will be paid for in £ if it is someone buying from another country like us then it will be in $ which can be a pain sometimes i also sell from the uk good luck though |

Have they changed the terms to permit a solely UK store? I know they had talked about it but I'm not sure it has gone through yet.
According to the terms that are still posted, all prices must be in dollars and sellers must agree to ship throughout the USA.
Once the UK stores started, I think many UK sellers hoped to have a store just for the UK, just like many US sellers only ship within the US. It was discussed in the forums, but I think the response was that the terms have not yet changed but are under consideration.

the UK store has started. But the US domain is still its main market. Meaning you are required to ship to USA for all listing.
One more thing UK sellers should notice is the GBP and USD rate changed a lot since last week, so prepare to alter the currency conversion rate there.
USD is getting cheaper. |
