Is there anyone else who is tired of the Ioffer format of Offer with Shipping included?
This is getting crazy... I list items, and get bizarre offers from places where the shipping is 2x, 3x, even 4x the cost of shipping to US Mainland.
I offered something for $69 + 14.99 shipping. I got offers from Puerto Rico with SHIPPING INCLUDED that are the base price.
They offered $69 shipping included. The item alone would cost $37.50 just in shipping....
Do they really imply I need to take a loss just to ship something?
Now, If I were to accept the offer, my costs would triple to get it there, even cheapest, making almost zero or negative margin.
THEN, when you offer it back to something acceptable the total cost is more than offered, then I need to explain, and re-explain why the counter offer is more than the original.
I find it offensive that there is no sliding portion of the selling screens to help in accommodating bizarre shipment totals, while still showing to others that I am, in fact, very reasonable. |

Yeah, that's what I see, too. If I remember correctly, iOffer products no longer show up on Google. Since this is happening now, maybe products only show up overseas. Though it would make no sense that a legitimate buyer from overseas does not understand that the overseas shipping expense is much higher.
Maybe someone else here does sell on iOffer with a different experience. |

| yeah, I used the grabber tool over there at ioffer recently not realizing they do not copy the listings exactly as they are set up at eBay, only to find a Japanese guy had bought a gas pressure regulator for 49 bucks that weighed nearly 10 lbs. with FREE SHIPPING that ioffer had "revised" the listing to.. I had to send the guy's money back since I was not going to take a loss caused by ioffer..nowhere in their fineprint do I see anything about "changing my listing descriptions" when I use their now viewed by me, stupid tool..won't be selling there again, unless their sales figures improve considerably..ain't worth my valuble time to list stuff and then sit on it for years cause they have no buyers, only lurkers..and lookers.. |
