I have 6 blujay stores, each selling different specific items...

I was getting ready to make a major move to a new city, so I put everything in every store, on hold until I got back on track & settled in my new home...

Once I got settled & back on-line, I tried to edit my location in each store so I could get back to selling & listing again...

Forget it! I could not get it edited. It kept prompting me to "enter" my new password? Was not trying to change that, but finally relented so I could proceed...

Then it was prompting me to enter my new e-mail address. Again, I was not trying to change that either, but again, relented...

All I was trying to do was change my location from one city to another....

After 2 hours & back & forth BS with passwords & e-mail addresses, I gave up & contacted CS... BTW, I had 6 stores to change & this was only one that I started with...

I sent a total of 3 e-mails to blujay for help in doing what I needed to do. Thought maybe I was doing something wrong...

1st e-mail... no response...
2nd e-mail... no response...
3rd & final e-mail... no response...

So now sits 6 stores with everything on hold & e-mails pouring in from potential buyers asking if items are still available, as they see the "holds" on everything...

I don't know what to do now. I removed everything from one store completely, but wanted to stock more stuff in others...

Any suggestions?

TIA

I don't understand. The area to update the Location is in the "Update My blujay" in the seller panel.

Hola elpereles

Yes, I know & that is where I went.

I updated the city, as well as the zip code & that's where it all started.

The city/zip code update did not stick, it kept giving me an "error" message to 1st enter my new password & then again an "error" telling me to enter my new e-mail...

Neither of which I was doing to begin with. I just wanted to update my new city...

Can't get blujay to respond as to why is it doing this...

I haven't changed anything on my account recently, but there used to be a lag time. When I would change logos etc. it would take sometimes a day to post the new image or info. In fact, I thought my changes weren't taking, but they were usually there the next day. The listings load super-fast, it just seems to be the administration screens that are slower.

Did you check the forums at blujay to see if anyone else has the same problem?

A while back when I needed to change my phone number there (dropped land line for cell only) I remember it doing that "enter new password stuff too.

Other sites do that too. Basically you just ignore entering anything you aren't doing and just do the change you want and hit "save" at the bottom.

At least that's what I did then.

Worst case, if it doesn't stick, put a line in all your listings with the "move info". Many people aren't going to even notice where you really are. No sense missing sales due to the site's goofiness.

Thank you much everyone :)

Portocall... I tried ignoring it & hit "save" every time I did change the city but it sends me to another page with the "error" saying I need to enter the new pass word and/or the new e-mail...

Carol... I'm going to take your advise & just bag it at this point...

I did want to mention that this move I made was from the mountain down into the valley. Only a 15 minute drive... Zip code changed, as well...

My Paypal has the change, so I guess I'll be OK with this quagmire on blujay...

Thanks again all.. :)
