I have started a new painting of a friends garden. She lives in Sydney, Australia and I live in California. I have come up with a novel way of letting her see the painting as it progresses. So many friends on both continents are now checking in that I thought I might post a link here to let others share in this work of art in progress.
It is oil on canvass measuring 18 inches by 24 inches and each week I'll add a new photograph.
Feel free to email me if you want, comments are also welcome.
Thanks for looking. Susie at Passion Vine House.

That was neat! It's almost like watching Bob Ross but quicker! That was an excellent idea for a way to advertise your work! Good going! A+ idea!

Get together with Lindsey Fry on this, for loading the images into his magic animation machine, and you will have a FANTASTIC page when it is done!
wow......
You are really an inspiration. Thank you for posting. |

LOL....no, I think you would be better off watching the Bob Ross show if it's lessons and technique you're after. (although the initial sketch does have some easy lessons in it!)
If you don't know how to paint, you, (like me) have no idea "how" she did "what" what to her painting....so, I don't think that will help you there hahaha!
But it is fun to watch the picture transform. |

Hi VP. Thank you so much for your kind and generous support. I miss Bob Ross and his happy trees.
Hi teapotdee. Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to check it out. Every time I see Lindsey Fry's work my jaw drops, awesome, light years ahead of me.
Hi psunite. Absolutely. Follow along. If you need help just ask. |

Me too...but you know what? Oddly enough, he is buried about 2 miles from my house at Woodlawn.
He has a bronze memorial plaque with a bronze "photo" of himself on it.
Sad thing is, I didn't realize he had died and that I was watching reruns at the time I discovered his grave! (I used to work for Woodlawn Cemetery and Funeral Homes. I worked in Family Service.)
and ps...no problem....I am only speaking the truth!
OOPS.... I quoted the wrong post of yours....oh well....

Hey, V.P.
I used to work for Woodlawn Cemetery and Funeral Homes. I worked in Family Service
I used to do that in my city, too.
Passionvine, as a hobby painter myself, I do admire your talent.
And I, too, believe that Lindsey Fry has magic fingers he uses on his keyboard.

| I went and posted a link to that in a classroom site that is about noncommercial web pages. It was a perfect example of some very fine work. |

Wow...what a coincidence Dream-makers! You're the first person I have met in the nearly 4 years since the birth of my business, who had that in common with me. Did you work for SCI or another firm?
