| January seemed very promising for my first month on eCrater. But, so far no sales in February. A little discouraging. How are things for everyone else? |

Everything has been slow for me. My B&M spot has been picked over a few times but no major sales. I put a few things on ebay just to get rid of them and even that has been really slow.
I hope things pick up soon!
Have a great evening!

| We have had orders, but it has been slower than last month. We still have to fill our ecrater store, right now there is only one item! |

I just got my eCrater store opened a couple of weeks ago. I filled it with the bulk lister and used my usual template which is HTML. The lister didn't do a very good job of stripping the HTML. (actually it stripped OK, but the text ended up formatted all in 1 paragraph that looked crummy and was hard to read)
Over the weekend I edited all the listings so they look decent now. So far no sales there tho.
Jan seemed slow to me, but when I ran the numbers, I actually did a little better than Jan last year.
Last year Feb was very good for me but so far this Feb has been quite slow. But my things are somewhat weather affected and I'm sure the storm last weekend slowed up people even thinking about spring.
I sure hope things pick up soon, as I spent close to $2000 on stock recently, and sure could use some sales to help pay for that stuff.

I still have a bombardment of hits - but no purchases and yet,
everything is very reasonable to generate business. However,
I even threw in the links for feedback checks if anyone wanted
to figure out who I was with over 100+ items listed in ecrater,
but unfortunately, I have no customer --- YET --- in ecrater.

| Thanks everyone for the feedback. It consoles me a little to know that this month has been rough for all. Hopefully it picks up again for everyone. Good luck all. |

| A little traffic, no purchases, but the store is new and I have done no real marketing for it yet, so I'm not discouraged. |

I sort of had a sale at eCrater yesterday.
A customer asked a question because he wanted multiples of an item. I gave him the price and also directed him to my web site. He then got what he wanted and 2 more items.
While it didn't actually go thru eCrater, it started there.
With the bad weather all over the country right now, my sales have been slow this month, so this was great.

It has been slow for me. A few sales her and a few sales there...nothing much to speak of. Back when I had my B&M store, this was the pattern as well. From about the 15th of Jan clear through to the latter part of March, I could have slept in the store and no one would have noticed. Once people start getting their tax money back then things seem to pick up.
With this years heating expenses, I can really understand why people aren't spending a bunch... |

From what I have read, I am blessed. I haven't had any NPBs this month. A couple of very slow pays and a lot of confused buyers, but none of the really bad stuff. Then again, I don't run very many auctions, just store items.
One of my cousins, that was here during Christmas, said that the new college "fad" for some of the people he knew was to go out and bid on auctions then never pay. Seems that they didn't think that anyone got hurt by this. I told him about how much that kind of game could cost a seller and that we only got part of that back, if we were lucky. Hopefully I opened his eyes a little...
I feel for you dep-t-dawg. The few that I have had in the past were a real pain! Having to watch over the dispute and then remembering to close when they have decided. I have forgotten a couple and ended up just eating them. |
