I found this free web store host on the internet while I was searching for free stuff. Me pay monthly fees for a web site that doesn't produce, No Way. I like having my own web store but until it starts producing income I surely want to keep my expenses on it down. I thought I'd share this web host with everyone since most of the clients on this web host are paid corporations and the new free ad supported web stores haven't been around that long since I haven't found them in the past.

There's two other free ad supported web hosts but they go to far with their ad placement installing cursor word ads and You Tube videos along with other repulsive ad placement.

This free web store host has well placed Google ads which are not repulsive to guests and potential buyers. Once you get your web store built the ads blend in in a good way.

This free ad supported web host offers totally customizable web stores. They have an editor for those who don't want to mess with HTML or for those who know HTML they have code boxes so custom HTML can be installed and altered. With some time and effort a bitch'in looking free web store can be built.

This free web store host also has search engine meta tag areas to get your web site verified and up on the search engines faster with good ranking. Also they provide Google product search installation. Lots of good stuff on this site. With the ad supported hosting plan you get a free customizable web store and you can have 5000 products.

I'm just going around spreading the word because the more web stores on this free web host the better the traffic will be to mine when I get it built.

If anyone wants a free web store and isn't repulsed by well placed ads on their site and the WebPlusStore wording on their search engine results header then this is the place to start your own personal free web store to accompany your auction site store or stores.

Not too impressed. What is different between this site and say Bonanza or ecrater or any other fixed price site?

The difference is "This Site" doesn't belong to lets say, Bonanza, Ecrater or any other fixed price auction site.

The site you start on WebPlusStore belongs to you and is your sole responsibility to get it going and get traffic to it.

This is a personal web site host and not a hosted selling venue like Bonanza, Ebay, Ecrater, Ioffer, Bluejay, Atomic Mall, Buyitsellit, etc............

No matter which site you sell on, there are things you still have to do yourself regarding marketing and such but my question was more pointed to the features. Nothing new. Everyone comes here announcing the new big thing only to have the exact same features as every other site. One site did show up here with something new, Netspray, something no one else had but no one tried it and it died a very lonely death.

Well, we all have our own opinion. Some people just don't feel the need to be out on their own and some people like having their own selling web site where they control what takes place.

I myself like having my own web site that doesn't charge me fees so I can have 2 or 3 years to build sales on it. I myself like not having to be associated with some selling venue host who's always finding ways to charge me more fees and controlling how my site looks amongst other things they do to suck the life out of a store owner. I look foward to the challenge over next 5 years of trying to make my free web site a success.

I have sold on Ebay. I have a store on Ecrater. I'm not giving them up. Ecrater is a nice selling host but they take years to add functions and don't have any custom design features so a seller can create his/her unique store image. Ecrater doesn't have ad revenue or charge fees so it's understandable that they will be years in adding features.

Ol, well! For the people that would enjoy a free web site with shopping cart and only have to put up with a few Google ads here's a place. For those like yourself that feel better on a hosted selling venue I wish you well.

I also want to add this web site host requires knowledge of HTML or experiance using an Editor to enter text and images. Fully customizable.

I just wanted to introduce this free personal web host to people that would like to explore a free web site with cart and not get into a debate about the pros and cons vs a hosted selling venue and personal web site. That's peoples personal opinions and most people that are negative already have died a lonely death.

I'm just a user of this web store host and not connected. Sorry! I'm only doing some promo for them because it will increase traffic to my store when I finish it.

I did talk to the owner or a staff member of this host alot and they do respond within 24 hrs. One time they responded within an hour. They do not offer support on the free stores. They only offer support on paid stores but my queries were about how long they were going to give the free stores away and they responded "For Life".

I investigated this host also before I got involved. There's not to many free stores hosted by them on the web yet but that's mainly because "Nobody" knows about them so it's hard to find them on the web.

All the web plus logos that show up in their demo store don't show up in the actual stores.

Here's some others I found. Some people just can't design but the stores can be designed properly with time. The ads in these stores are the ads that will be in your store. Not bad. Ads aren't repulsive.

Even though Web Plus Shops has all the tools to get a web site indexed on the search engines (you still have to site submit yourself) it takes months for the search engines to index a site properly so any new sites won't show up.

One of my biggest pet peeves on stores are Google Ads or any unrelated advertising. But I guess that's necessary to keep it free.

I dislike the Google text ads also but after experiencing the You Tube Video ads and those bunk cursor hit word ads I'll take the Google text ads if they are well placed and not shoved into peoples faces.

I had a friend use the cursor hit word ads. He had every fifth word linked with an ad. Just run your cursor over a paragraph and tons of ads would appear. I hate that!

Video You Tube ads are to large and ugly and make a web site load slow.

I've only found three hosts that offer free web stores. One had the cursor hit word ads everywhere along with all the Google text ads and banner ads. One big ad farm and it was horrible.

The 2nd host was one of those old skinny center view sites with ultra big side borders and the borders were yellow. I like my computer screen filled with all the web site and the big borders blow. I didn't register to see the package. I can just imagine.

WebPlusStore looks good! They have well placed ad spots with customizable web stores.

Yeah, everyone has to make money. Web hosts have to make money also to provide the service. Putting up with a few well placed ads to get a free web store gives me the chance to get my free store producing an income for me from scratch. Can't beat that with a stick. Either pay $10.00 a month for access and URL for years until your store starts producing or try a free store and let the host have the advertising revenue and you keep the monthly service fees in your pocket.

Yes the site is free, but besides having the ads you also are on your own. No customer support for free subscribers.

Just as long as they keep the servers up and running properly I myself don't need support. I have enough experiance dealing with different types of script and can be on my own.

So you can't even send them an email on the free tier? Wow.

I guess, for the record, our service is currently free (closing fees beginning in 2012), has no ads and welcomes emails from all current and prospective users.

You're not going to get members picking out the bad on other web hosts.

You "Can" email WebPlusShops, just not about "HOW TO DO THIS AND HOW TO DO THAT". I agree with them that explaining and guiding people through functions is time consuming and not necessary. WebPlusShops has lots of tutorials for that. Gotta be able to figure it out yourself.

Your service is just a gimmick and I'm not knocking it but I'm not going to put my stuff up for sale on your site to have it "BID DOWN". I want "MORE MONEY" not less. Yeah, I get the idea of your site but buyers will look at the higher than high prices then go to Ebay and make the purchase. In order to get the price I want I would have to hike the price up really high so I don't get screwed on the sale. How many visitors do you get a day? How well are you advertised? Is my stuff going to get looked at or just sit there?

Hey pbreit, advertising your site is the way to go but coming on other sites threads to try and steer traffic to your site ain't gonna work. People are smarter than that.

I get reply emails from WebShopPlus within a resonable amount of time.

I emailed them telling them I started this thread and got this reply:

Be sure to let them know that support is provided on a first come first served basis via email. All paying customers get first priority.

As I stated in previous posts I'm just doing some promo for them because they are free and the more web stores that use this free service the more customers will gain trust in the WebPlusStore shops and visit my store.

I also want to add for people just starting their first independant web store free from the auction sites and hosted selling venues that it takes a year or more of promoting (advertising) to build traffic. Ain't noth'in happens over nite! Takes months just to get a new web site indexed on the search engines alone.

Another piece of info I want to add is this web host company is located in South Dakota. They are owned by a communication company up that way. Their main company office is in MN.
