OK so as I said in the subject. The stupid eBay no longer allows "negative" wordings in the listings.

BUT I'm selling an item and its brand contains the word "Not"!!! So now their stupid detection tool or whatever found it and says I've a policy violation EVERY TIME I list those 2 items of that brand. Warning every time!

Now my seller's performance standard has already dropped cuz of that stupid NEW (AGAIN???) eBay policy update thing. Like duplicate listings (when I saw other big sellers have TONS of duplicate listings and I only have like 2/3?!) and this stupid "Not" wording but its the brand?!!! I mean what the ....?

Last week I searched & I saw another seller put "official" after that brand and I tried that and it seemed to work (i.e. they didn't say there's policy violation afterwards), but yesterday I was listing another item that is that brand and added "official" and it doesn't work anymore!!! I'm like... what are you doing??? You want to get rid of us small sellers by accusing us all sorts of things??? This is just not fair.... and I've tried "authentic" too and it doesn't work either.

I am not sure if anyone else here has such experience. If so, pls let me know & advise how we can work around that. I'm just pissed off at how stupid eBay is. Thanks!

If the site's that bad for you why are you still there.
Don't get mad with ebay, they don't give a dam about their customers - us sellers.
Put your energies into all the other auction sites plus you own websites.
Despite what the ebay trolls say, the other sites are growing as ebay declines. We're seeing it every day in our turnover.

I know... I also don't want to sell on eBay. I know they don't care anymore as they don't even let ppl email them now. And no more live chat! But I tried Blujay and it's just sloooooooow. I mean I sold like 3 things in 2 years?! And I sell some magazines on Amazon and while that is ok, I don't think I want to sell other stuff there.

So if anyone knows any other good auction sites that has more traffic, pls let me know too!

btw, while I'm still looking for a nother website, if you know how we can work around that stupid eBay policy, pls let me know.

If you add your website directly such as for example

see our website at www.mygreatplace.com for more information
then you can guarantee it will be picked up by their bots.

However we've found if you add a line such as

For further information visit our com site "mygreatplace"
Then it gets past the bots and most people understand it and can work out the address.
Plus put repeated notes in your listing to visit the "me" page where you can add links to your sites from there.

I've just come across a seller who has 23000+ listings, is a PS TRS and every single image has a link on it to their website. Obviously they are paying ebay enough to ignore the rules
