For those looking for an off ebay alternative, I see from looking at my own account that revolutionarymoneyexchange has finally made their transition to Serve.*

They make their money by charging fees to people who fund their accounts with credit cards, although funding your account with your bank account is free. Receiving money is free and it comes directly from another member's Serve account and not directly from another member's credit card.
Second choice would be ING Direct, which offers free person to person money transfers from one member's account to another (U.S. accounts). ING Direct is actually the company behind ALL of PayPal's international money transfers.
*Nice business plan from the founders of revolution. Come up with a company that threatens credit card companies and they will be forced to buy you out for a hefty profit - in this case American Express. LOL |
