| I just bought a $1.79 (shipping included) button cell camera battery on ebay and received an e-mail from Buyshield, trying to sell me a warranty on it ? Quoted price of warranty = $5.95 for a 1 year warranty ! |

and if it breaks...
Never Ever buy from china (or any place outside the US) on Ebay if you are concerned about any warranty (14 days soon) or the option of returning if you are not willing to pay $26+ shipping with tracking as ebay only will accept it as returned with a tracking number within the time stated on returns.
China knows the dirty little secret is.. it cost more to return the junk than the item costs after sending express mail and it appears to me that DSRs and feedback to china sellers are calculated a lot differently than for US sellers. |

Another thing- Since Ebay meddles into everything else- they SHOULD make sure that sellers are NOT shipping leather goods to ITALY- since it is prohibited by law.
By the way- I did order a 'watch-back' remover from Hongkong which broke on the first use. I wrote and told the seller. They told me to keep the item and immediately sent me another one. This was a light-weight item...it may be different with items of substantial weight. Betty Lou
