eBay launched a new television ad with a Christmas theme that began airing on Tuesday evening and ramped up its holiday promotional efforts, including a gift guide landing page for shoppers and a holiday hot list for sellers.
The new eBay TV ad is in keeping with those that began running in September with the tagline "buy it new, buy it now" and featuring mobile shoppers.

The eBay holiday hot list gives sellers ideas for what's hot in seven categories, including the following:
