Do you offer PayPal as a payment option on your ecommerce website and stores? And has this changed over the past year or so?
The publisher of EcommerceBytes studied the payment methods accepted on the merchant listings of the EveryPlaceISell.com (EPIS) directory and found some interesting trends with regard to adoption rates.
Twenty-two percent of EPIS merchants who had accepted PayPal on their own websites and off-eBay stores in October 2010 stopped accepting PayPal as a payment method on those sites in October 2011.

I do not offer Paypal anymore. I stopped offering Paypal after they abruptly downgraded my account from business to personal and would only re-upgrade me if I provided them with a copy of my drivers license. To me this was the last straw.
I do offer Google Wallet, Serve and Moneybookers. Each payment method comes with a discount offer for using said service. |

| Most of my merchants still offer paypal on their sites. It is by far the most popular payment method just because of the low startup cost for small merchants and the ease of signup. |
