You can follow this joyful experience of Christmas fundraising funds by Regretsy frozen by paypal. Looks like it's been picked up by the Consumerist.
Some of the blog posts relating to Regretsy are NSFW with the bad crafts, but the paypal related posts are fine, although some might have 4 letter words, but those are invoked quite often when mentioning paypal, so I think that's fine.
Or just enjoy the ugly crafts on Regretsy, it will give you a chuckle.

"PayPal Apologizes for Holiday Mess; Twitter Reacts"
PayPal found itself in hot water after a blog post made the rounds this morning showing how the company had seriously mishandled attempts by Regretsy to use the service to donate money and toys to needy children for Christmas.
The blog post detailing the debacle went up on Regretsy last night and was picked up by Twitter this morning. In response to the backlash PayPal backed down, unfreezing the account in question and making a donation to boot. Below are some of posts that made the rounds on Twitter today.

Just talked to Paypal and I will update you shortly. Short version - Apology: yes. Account unfrozen: yes. Donation: not yet, but being discussed
