Somebody knows the number of sellers that currently are selling their products on ebay?
This is because the other day I read that in proportion ebay has more sellers than users.
And the number of users I know ebay has is 130.000.000 in US. |

So you read this the other day, and you're asking us?
Have you looked at one of ebay's annual reports? They usually breakdown some of that data. Or a Google search...
But proportionately, I think there are a lot more "users" than sellers. Maybe 1 out of 10 of my buyers have sold anything on ebay... |

| For example, in 2008, Ebay UK had 14 million users and 178,000 regular sellers. |

The numbers ebay or paypal quote mean nothing - they are there to manipulate their stock price and investors. Those numbers include a wide variety of "users"
People who abandoned their accounts years ago, but did not delete it, shill accounts used by sellers and their family and friends to up their bids, accounts used by sellers who buy stuff on ebay and then sell it through another account, multiple accounts for the same person, acounts setup to to obtain other user's contact information, accounts owned by ebay, and so on.
PayPal keeps quoting these big numbers - 100 million - yet ALL of their international transactions are actuallyly handled by the internet banking giant ING. Its all smoke and mirrors. I thought ebay was acompany that thought out the box and came up with new ideas - if you actually listen to their b.s. - so why are they using ING? According to eBay's b.s. they came up with everything. |

I think that in today's economy there will be more sellers than a fe years a go as everyone who has lost their job or short of cash wants to be an ebay millionaire.
Many people have selling IDs and forum posting ids
But ebay are slack they don't give out any meaning ful figures on anything. |
