Lets face it, we got addicted to ebay, it was easy and fun, not so easy now and not near as much fun, time to move on.
Google un-occupy ebay for my article.
there are plenty of easier and cheaper alternatives to ebay.
BUT, ebay is still the big boy of online auctions. I choose to rid myself of that dependance and branch out and not depend on a single site. I list on multiple sites.
The trick is do not be afraid of shameless, unabashed self promotion.

hey, does anybody know how many webpages you get with a "free" store? is it just one page? and allowed 15 or so, items to list for "free"?.. |

I have over 700 listings, free shopping cart, google submissions, complete e-mail marketing tools, Invoicing tools, seller generated messages, cross platform selling, Auto inventory reduction tools when sold at different platforms, easy checkout process, redirects back to venue after payment. Picture hosting, Pre-made templates, customizable templates using HTML
I have tried a lot of different ones and this is the best one I have used. I make sales every day at one web-site, and working on another one right now. I have referred many sellers here and they all seem happy with it. |

In all these years of info/news/comments from others/personal about sales. The only thing I learned if that you are outside of eBay. The success in the "Alternatives" isn't just the site, but how much time you spend in promoting yours stores.
And in some cases the items in sale. :lol: |

The power is in our hands....... Remember ... Do your shopping outside of eBay... there are better deals to be found.
Since "storefronts" do not charge a commission on item price and shipping, sellers have less overhead and can offer better deals (I do)
