|

Newby here using eBay for selling and buying for 4 years. Maybe 100 transactions. I sell hand crafted items between $50-$200. So, my questions:
1. Should you keep same name for accounts selling same product at different auction websites?
2. If fees etc. are different should you still request same price at different websites?
3. What pay services other than paypal should I look into?
4. Any way to be able to accept credit card payment?
Cheers. :) |

1. I believe so, it's about branding.
2. If there fees are lower, I charge less for an item.
3. Moneybookers and Serve.
4. Google Wallet or a home POS (Point of Sale) unit. |

You need to be careful regarding listing the same item on 2 different sites. Google search doesn't like that and will delete one or both. You need to have different pictures, title and descriptions.
I would suggest using Google checkout along with PayPal. My buyers are about evenly divided between the two. And of course this is how you can accept credit cards. |

| Thanks to both of you for the info. I will look into Google checkout and make new adds for my products for multiple sites. :) |

hello I mostly sell brand new and used clothing on ebay and sometimes in lots. Can I do that on ecrater. I am seeing suggestion on include a code so not sure how a lot of items (or even used items) would get handled or if it's a good place for recycled goods.
TIA |

I prefer to have different selling IDs on different websites.
While branding can be important, some buyers are such b@st@ards that I prefer to limit who I direct to what stores.
You may also have buyers who may not like you on ebay, over your feedback, bad grammar, the terms of sale you have posted, but the may buy from your Amazon ID not knowing its you and not carrying over some pre-conceived prejudices. |
