Hi Schistosomiasis, thanks for the help again. I have been in touch with a database administrator as well as our supply chain manager, and we have begun discussing the logistics of creating a database.
Basically, the idea is to be able to pre-configure shipping information in the database, and find a printing client to to accept automatic order 'dumps' from the database every 4 hours for example.
What types of printing aaplications are available that are able to accomplish that, or something similar? |

Hi Cotton,
I think the issue is not which printing client to use, but merely formatting the dump to the most useful form for you. For example if you want to print postage, which postage service do you use, and what format can they accept? That's the format you want to output.
The printing itself will be the same printing you've been doing all along. But, instead of entering info manually, it will be bulk/automatic.
I'm not sure I answered your question... |
