Hi Everyone! Just signed up a few days back and thought I'd take the time to drop in and say hello and share my story.
I've been selling a few things here and there over the internet since 07 and more recently I gave a go with my own store on a certain website. Needless to say things didn't work out as I'd expected so I cut back to a single seller without a store front and decided to sell things once and a while for extra cash.
After not selling anything for a while on this certain site I decided to throw a few things up for some extra cash and was totally slapped in the face when I sold an item and found out that my money was being held hostage after the buyer had paid. I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about so I won't go into detail here.
Anyway, so an idea popped up in my head. Why do I want to give them my money when I have the means of creating a website that I can sell my own products on. Heck, maybe I can get a little piece of the pie. Why don't I just take a whack at the beanstalk and see what happens?
So my venture begins! I've pulled the ax from the shed and have launched my website and added some of my products to sell. Now it's time to sharpen the ax and start chopping away.
That said, I appreciate anyone taking the time to read my story and will definitely appreciate those who follow my story from here. I will post updates and more information on my endeavor in the appropriate sections of the forums as I go.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Best of luck to you too! There's defiantly a lot to contend with here. I didn't realize that there were that many people actually venturing away from a certain site and going on their own.
Oh well! Just gotta chop a little harder at the bean stalk. I do wish everyone the best of luck. I'm sure that we all can help each other out and learn some things from one another.
