As part of MBA, I’m doing a short survey on Ebay and would appreciate if you could spare a minute to answer 10 multiple choice questions.

questionnaires can be found at:

Thank you very much for your help

A Huge thank you for all those who've participated in this survey. I really value your input. I need more data and request people to take part. (it literally takes less than a minute to complete)

Regards,

I never do surveys since ebay is known to spy on off ebay sites to punish those that dare to question their policies. I definately do not trust google any longer and their data mining.

You do not have to ask personal questions to find out information about the person doing the survey - all they need to do is visit a site for data mining to occur.

OP says..."As part of MBA, I’m doing a short survey on Ebay "

Come to think of it- WHAT is MBA? And, what is OP going to do with all these 'surveys'? How will this help Ebayers? Ebay's surveys ask basically the same questions. I'd like to know more about this person presenting the survey and what they plan to do with them? We ARE giving them our email addreses once we complete it. ?? Betty Lou

Hi PSU supporter,

MBA stands for Masters of Business Administration (its a post graduate degree) The topic of my research is how can Ebay enhance the buying and selling experiences of its participants. It is only for academic purposes and the survey does NOT ask for any of your confidential data such as name , addess , email etc. The questions asked require you to scale your preferences from 1-5 (very unsatisfied - very satisfied) on 10 questions

The responses will help me analyse areas where Ebay is going wrong. Marks are awarded to students who can recommend solutions as to what can be done to satisfy the sellers and buyers

I have had excellent response from various sellers on this forum and i am grateful for it. I chose this topic as my research because i have had an online store on ebay myself and so i wanted to share with my examiner what other people have got to say about different areas of Ebay that are problematic

I have been studying E-commerce and ebay fit in perfectly with what i have studied. Ebay does NOT have access to this data.

Thank you for your support,

nakupenda

To have a balance views of buyers and sellers, may i request you to proceed with the survey by selecting "buyer" on question 5 as the quota for "seller" is complete. (sellers do buy items aswell so why not include ur views as buyers)

I am short of 30 surveys from buyers.

Thankyou for your support,

Regards,
Nakupenda

LOL- Most of we Ebayers already KNOW where Ebay is going wrong (numerous places) Many have recommends solutions, but it's a well-known fact that Ebay is not interested in suggestions or solutions. We only have to watch this forum to see what the people have to say. Betty Lou

as i said betty, this research is simply for academic purposes, i, as a seller also know selfish ebay is.

This research is just to prove to my examiner than i can quantify the views of all sellers and buyers .

I know that most Ebays know where Ebay is going wrong. This research aims to quantify this. E.g In my report i can claim 75% of sellers find the fees too high and the recommendation could be to increase the current discount offered on the final fees charged.

Its all about making sensible suggestions to get marks and earn a degree eventually =)

Thanks,
Nakupenda
