There are a couple of new features on the eBay.com Seller Dashboard that don’t appear on eBay UK. All you need do to access them is log into eBay.com with your UK credentials and then navigate to the Seller Dashboard.

You can now view your total lifetime sales for your eBay account – both as a monetary value and the number of transactions. You’ll also see the date of your first eBay sale displayed. You can also choose to split the transactions by “Global”, “United States”, “United Kingdom”, or “Germany”. Generally for the UK or Global (if you’re registered on eBay UK then you’ll see your total sales in pounds sterling. If you select US sales then values will be in dollars or Euros for Germany.

The second feature available in the Seller Dashboard when viewed on eBay.com is actions that eBay have taken to protect your account. These include the number of feedbacks buyers left for you that eBay have removed, the number of opened buyer protection cases that eBay have removed and no longer count against your seller standing, and the number of times an unpaid item credit has been applied to your account.

This is a joke, right?

"These include the number of feedbacks buyers left for you that eBay have removed,"

They can't seriously think that anyone would be that stupid to believe this - oh wait, I forgot ebay management has developed the "God complex" and we are simply peons who should be gratefull for be illuminated by their holy light.

"the number of opened buyer protection cases that eBay have removed and no longer count against your seller standing,"

eBay is getting more dillusional as they approach the cliff of no return.

"and the number of times an unpaid item credit has been applied to your account. "

What the hell - don't they mean the number of times a vandal or competitor has visited your site and ebay has failed to do anything other than posting the number of times this has happened.

Who really gives a crap. Overseas sales are dead since PayPal makes it way too dangerous to ship overseas. But even if they were still a good thing I frankly could care where items are sold. Knowing where they are sold is not going to help me at all. My customers either want the items at certain price or they don't. I am not going to analyze this and that - heck why not list how customers are redheads, blondes, wear purple clothing, smoke, and so forth.

How about instead ebay post:

1. How much money they manage to steal each year from you and all other sellers simply by not providing a 9% refund on refunds you generate for shipping alone. PayPal refunds their fees automatically, but ebay does not - its called theft.

2. How much more your expenses have gone up since shipping is now charged a 9% and you are expected to pay for tracking and insurance or add handling fees. How much more expenses hav gone up for buyers as a result.

3. $ amount of lost sales due to ebay's b.s. search engine and actually hiding products in searches based upon how much you accept ebay's blackmail terms.

4. Total amount of fees ebay/paypal has taken from you over the lifetime - make than total sales figure seem less impressive.

Just more cotton candy propaganda for airhead ebay users.

How about adding another statistic, the number of times eBay has screwed you over?
