Facebook has been bit of a mystery to me, or at least how to make money out of Facebook is. Should you be trying to sell on Facebook, use it to engage customers, or simply use it as a customer support network? Many of the online retailers I speak to are still trying to figure out how to monetise Facebook as well.
If you’re still trying to figure out how to make Facebook work for your business then read Does ROI Exist on Facebook? Measuring your social revenue by Lace Llanora on The Wholesale Forums. This discusses how to track if your Facebook efforts are paying dividends with customers buying from your website.
To help you further The Wholesale Forums have published an eBook “Does your Business need to be on Facebook“. They’ve kindly agreed to allow all TameBay readers to access the Facebook eBook for free for a short while so download today whilst it’s available.

"Facebook Users Can Now Sell to Members of Social Circles"
Oodle which powers the Facebook Marketplace and lets users post items for sale across Facebook, launched a new feature this week that allows users to refine their selling activity. Facebook users can now easily sell, give or ask within specific social circles within the Marketplace.
For example, someone could offer their extra tickets to friends and co-workers inside their social circles. Social circles are more commonly associated with Google Plus (G+) than with Facebook, but Facebook users can create new circles with Oodle.
Oodle CEO Craig Donato told EcommerceBytes, "Friends are helpful, but you really want to talk about your extended social circles, which includes your neighbors, coworkers, and your classmates."
On a place like Craigslist or eBay, you're posting to the public, but "when you post to our site, you can also let everyone see it, but you can also post to these smaller circles," Donato said.
