| We just started our eBay store last October and are looking for ways to increase sales. We love feedback of our store and current setup. Thanks! |

Ohh, industrial goods!
First, give the non-industrial buyer a better idea of what you items are used for.
I can read "Black Delrin / Acetal Plastic Round Bar", but what does that mean to joe schmo who might be looking for plastic rod for his home made canoe?
What are its properties, does it have hobbie uses, is it marine grade/water resistant, is it heat resistant, is if non-toxic to pets, etc
Once you determine other uses for item list in those categories with an altered title that add "great for bird perches" or "suitable for all weather conditions" or "lightweight for remote control cars"
Second, and this will be tedious, show an actual photo of each type of item. For you aluminum bar stock just show the shape listed. to many stock photos makes it harder for buyers to visually search for what they want. nothing like 50 stock photos to bore a buyer to death.
Third remove "We do accept checks and money orders" beofre it gets you banned from ebay. you are not permitted to advertise such.
good luck |

another thing you can do is supply UPC numbers in your listings. This will get your items in google shopping search engines, and this should help get views.
Just as cohibastore.com suggested Show the buyer different ways to use your items. describe how they can be used. Use your imagination and give the viewer ideas about how to use the item. If you have regular customers ask them if you can include a picture of an item that shows the item in use.
There is always the social media sites as well, so consider this. A blog is a great way to garner followers of your items. Join a yahoo groups or chat group that would have a use for your items. Then advertise to them.
Although this will take some time. But descriptions need to have keywords in them not just specs. Tell me about the metals and why I would use a certain metal over another one. I am sure copper would be better and aluminum for different tasks. so tell me this in the description.
Write reviews on your products as well, will get you pushed out in that direction as well. |
