We added a new subforum under "Auction Scams and Frauds" called "Busted" :evil:

This is where you can read news stories about scammer and even buyers that have been busted. Read and compare the "common-grounds" and "similarities" and/or tactics used by theses scammers to protect yourself.

If you find any news articles about scammers getting busted for fraud please post them in that thread. To keep the thread from being cluttered up all new topics created will be set to pending for approval.

Please include as much content in the article and link to the orginal source.

Please include a link to the article. Include as much of the content in the post as you can because a lot of times the link to the article becomes invalid if the source removes or archives the article.

psunite, I think you would want to watch this carefully and verify before posting or even this forum could be misused

I think some way of confiming the story would have to be here somehow,

We don't want this forum to become a rumor mill, thats all.

But still a great concept whose time has come!

All topics posted in this forum automatically gets pending for approval. The articles about scammers getting caught will also come from reputable news sources. If you look how the current topics are down you will see that it will not be a rumor mill.
