AND post your opinion regarding Dimitris comment here -
POSTED by fancyflappers - Yes, Julie, you have to either "hide" the listing or "delete" it.

That's exactly the two options that you have. "SOLD" image is not a good solution. In fact I will upgrade the eCRATER crawler and such listings will be auto-removed and the sellers will receive a warning.
In my opinion this will HURT SELLERS!
The problem is that the buyer might not receive the item for a week or two. By hiding it or deleting it when they receive it they can not re-look at what they bought.
The SOLD image solves that problem. EVERYONE should see that it is no longer available for sale and the buyer can see that the item received is exactly as the ad stated it would be.
That is one problem with ecrater is a seller can change an ad. If I buy an item and pay for it, when I get it I might not get at all what the ad said when I purchased it! If the seller hides it, deletes it, or changes it, I have no way to prove it!
PLEASE POST YOUR OPINION on the ecrater forum - whether you agree with me or not. PLEASE make your opinion be heard! |

If you have such concerns, You can always do a "save as" on the web page to save it to your own hard drive.
In "file" chose "save page as", in the box that pops up pick "web page complete". Fill in a name that means something to you as the default name will most likely be useless. Be sure you choose "web page complete" as the file type or you won't get the pics for the page.
That's really the only definate way to be sure the seller isn't going to change something before you can check it out.

| I think I would go as far as printing the page myself. |
