Hi, would eCrater ever consider lowering the amount of items necessary to use the Bulk Lister tool? I don't have 100 items...only about 60 items...and even only 60 items will take a long time to list manually Also, i've never used Excell or any spreadsheet before, so i'd really like to try a Bulk List of a few items first, in case i REALLY MESS UP!!

Any possibility????? I think more people may be willing to list on eCrater, but may not have 100 items to use the bulk lister. Ioffer uses a tool called Mr.Grabber....any chance of anything like that in the future? I know this is a free site....don't mean to be asking for the moon.

Would a poll be helpful in determining whether this would be a change that ecrater users would want?

I was wondering the same exact thing. I have about 40-50 items on a ss and would like to upload them onto my store...anyone have any ideas? I was thinking about duplicating the items (copy and paste) to double the amount of items, then I might have the 100 I need.

Hi, that's a great idea! I posted the same question directly on the eCrater site forum and the answer was "no, they have no plans on lowering the amount." Your idea seems like the only alternative to listing our items one by one.

Thanks...let me know if you give it a try. 8)

I reckon you could use the copy/paste method, then either go in and delete your duplicates after the fact, or simply leave them there if you have more than a quantity of one per item.

I am currently focused on getting my items on another site, but would eventually like to get to ecrater. That place confuses me though...it seems like the interface is not very user friendly. Maybe it's operator error

Cheers and God bless!

ps...I love these emoticon thingies :!:

Hi heimlich, i'm not too computer saavy, but i did download the ecrater sample file. I just don't know how to get a copy of my items to put onto the sample file?? If i ever figure it out, i'll let you know.

BTW, where did you find the emoticons to put in your message?? I don't see them here.

Hi, duckmom. When you click on the Post Reply button, you'll see the emoticons on the left of the message window and underneath is View More Emoticons. Click on that and you'll get a pop-up of more, like the angel smilie.

Thanks, cztreasures. I haven't been clicking on the "reply" button....i've just been using the "quick reply" box at the bottom of the message. Guess they don't have the emoticons there. :psulove:

The listing individually goes really quickly. I was amazed. I did not want to do the bulk lister since I wanted to make some changes to the individual listing. I still have more to list but am working on my own store for the time being. Seems like eCrater is getting lots of lookers but not many buyers yet.

duckmom

Any luck w/the bulk lister?

I am trying right now, but they have some categories that I have to imput..."local" and "global"...I'm trying to figure it out now.

eCrater confuses me...it is not like many of the sites I have been on. The format is completely different. Anyone have some suggestions?

Hi heimlich, sorry i haven't been back here...hope you're still here, haha. No i haven't made any progress with the bulk lister. Got busy listing on some other sites and got too lazy to try to figure out the bulk lister thing.

Just decided to try again the other day and ran into the same question as you....how do you know the global categories? Ecrater's instructions that when you list an item the category & global category #'s show, but if you have a lot of items that need to be listed in several different categories, that would mean you have to manually start a listing for each just to find out what the categories are???

Maybe we can put a suggestion to ecrater to have a category list available somewhere.

Anyway, maybe by the time you see this post....if you see this post....hopefully you will have already figured everything out and are happily fully listed and selling on eCrater
