Hello.. This is Greg one of the owners and Founders of inkFrog, inc.

In case you have missed our forums announcement, inkFrog has acquired Sparedollar and it means big news for you all. First, I want to introduce myself and inkFrog. InkFrog is an auction management company that is very similar to SpareDollar. We have built our business on customer service and great software! I am the founder of inkFrog and one of the current owners.

I know you all have had many questions about what has been happening with SpareDollar over the last several months. During this time we have been working with Tomas Salas (former owner of Sparedollar and now partner with inkFrog) on this acquisition and we are pleased to say it's finally here! Tomas will become a partner in inkFrog and be working with us to create the best auction management experience available in the market today.

We are very excited about purchasing Sparedollar and very excited to be working with Tomas. InkFrog and Sparedollar have always had the same philosophies and have always been the low cost leaders in Auction Management. This will NOT change!

I'm hoping this acquisition doesn't worry any of you. We are planning big things for all of you and have made up an extensive FAQ section to answer all of your questions regarding this. (we will be adding to this FAQ as the questions roll in). InkFrog and Sparedollar are very similar and are run in very similar ways. (inkFrog is a very small company and cares about its users!).

We know that your main worry is pricing and software. We completely understand this and assure you that you don't have to worry. We have developed brand new software that has the ease of use of SpareDollar and the powerful features of inkFrog. This software has not been released to inkFrog users or Sparedollar users yet. We will release it for everyone beginning this month or the first few weeks of April. We will also ensure that all of your data is seamlessly moved over to the new software and will make the transfer very simple and painless! We also are working on the pricing structure but assure you that we plan on blowing away the pricing barrier and will ensure that Sparedollar users have very little pricing changes while still getting a ton more features, space, and 'stuff' (as I like to call it).

I know you all will have lots of questions :-), We will be keeping you all posted through each step. Please do NOT try to signup for our current inkFrog site now. Everyone (inkFrog and Sparedollar) users will be moved to our new site starting within weeks. We are very excited about this new software and will work with you each step of the transition. We also will be setting up extra support to ensure that any of your questions get answered.

I look forward to getting to know most of you and look forward to hearing your comments and feedback on our new site once it's released. If you have ever worked with inkFrog before you know that we listen to our customers and implement features and ideas they have into our software.

We know you have lots of questions, and will work in answering all of them. Please see the FAQ we have setup for the most common questions you have. Also please stop by the forums and you can talk with myself, Tomas, and others directly.

We will also have a support desk setup for you very soon to get all your questions answered quickly!

So SpareDollar users have been told about the sale and the fact that as of June 1 all of our auctions, templets, pictures etc will be transfered. How do you all like there service? Do they usually deliver on their promises?

No prob. at all, :D and I also want to answer
your question with what knowledge I have of
your service. Two of our daughters have used
your service to host and list their auctions for
several years (INK FROG) and have always been
very pleased with the service. They have very
little knowledge of HTML and etc., but their auctions
always look GREAT..

ALSO, do you plan to offer services to other sites
like, Hibidder, TAM, ONLINE, any of the very good
alternatives? (There are a LOT mentioned here at
PSU).. :D

This is going to be interesting - I'm watching this closely too, because
I know a lot of Froggies (InkFrog Users) who left Ink Frog to SpareDollar,
and then I know some SpareDoller Users who became Froggies.

third party ink frog has gone off the deep end. they just deleted their forums again and posted a new rule, be nice and dont complain or we will take your comments down. makes my decision to switch to them look very very bad. wow imagine if that were the rule here

just a warning for the non ebay haters that are still posting here all others may disregard i dont want to hear your rants
