Against all practical advice from most members on PSU - I am spreading my wings to cover other auction sites this weekend, BidVille included.

Anyway, I am the registration page and have come up to a point where they ask for a user name as someone who referred me. So i looked into it and see that the person who refers me get's something called "$5 enhancement money".... used for final value fees, etc... that's what it is i guess

anyway - first person to give me their user name I will gladly use it. Thanks!

That's cool.... thanks, if nothing else comes in the next few minutes, I will go ahead and use your user name... but since you don't even list anymore, perhaps it would be better served for a user who would actually use the $5?

I do appreciate the quick response tho.... will use it if none other here pretty quick

I was gonna check out your "hiBidder.com" link... but what others are you talking about that you are "linking"???

my only personal requirement is: NO upfront money/fees - I'll give final value fees - but until a site proves their worth I won't pay an up front fee

there are many to choose from in that category I know... I'll certainly be busy this weekend

that is another one. There is so many fine sites,
We just like these two best, but they are pretty
new.
NO upfront fees and VERY low FINAL fees when
you sell at BOTH!!

Marty, good luck at Bidville! I think you should list whereever you want, whether it goes with the collective advice of the community or otherwise. I don't think listing at Bidville will cause you any loss financially, and you're the only person who can gauge how they'd like to spend their time.

It's really a personal thing, and although I don't list at Bidville, I really, really hope you find success over there. Good luck!

http://www.overnightauctions.com/ is another great site to try the CS is awesome :) and they are getting lots of traffic I have sold 18 items in one month there so come on over and give it a try it's free and they even give you money for signing up and if you bring your friends they even give you more money :D and the owner Kevin aka Bossmandude is working on some radio and tv Advertising among other things to get even more traffic

Ok Dep-t-dawg - I am now at the register page for GreatCow and it's asking for referal... what's yer user name there?

Round - you are so right, and I am willing to live and learn at these plac es myself - you know, experience the goods and the bads first hand (as long as I'm not robbed!) which leads me to an issue... a couple of the "unkown" sites I've been at make me feel awfully uneasy giving my credit card information.... I mean... i see where it's needed to charge me final value fees, but still - not easy to trust (and i dont!)

glsaltandsoaps - just got finished registering there and thought the process was easy enough. I mentioned PSU but didn't get any "extra" $5 other than the $5 they are already offering for registering. Also - I selected to be home page featured, bold, highlighted etc... because it appears to be free - hope I wasnt wrong about that (the only "fee" information is for the final value fee of 1%)

you're welcome! And it's done.... but now I have an issue:

I stupidly registered and dived right into listing without reading some of the small print. I see now that their payment system is unique (and kinda cool!), but my standard listing template already explains forms of payment (PayPal, Money Orders, etc) - but the auction format I chose does not allow for revising - and I am having the darndest time finding an easy contact link for the site's Customer Service (whom I assume is "Mark")

and is it just me - or do they NOT allow html in their descriptions??
