We have almost completed our new auction site and will begin advertising soon.

We are offering an optional membership service for 49.99 a month with no listing fees or end of auction fees including a store front with up to 1000 active listings at a time.

Customers will have the option to use the membership service or traditional fees will apply.

No fees for buyers.

We would love to be included in the MOAAS

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Wow and some people think $8 a month on OLA is high for unlimited listings   Right now I think anything is high if it's a new, unproven site  I believe MOASS is also for sites that have 10,000 listings, is that right?

We appreciate the input and agree that at this time the fees may seem high.

We will be gearing our auction services to actual businesses.

We can appreciate the concern for some thinking that fees are not worth paying on sites that have little to no traffic.

We do not want to be a site that has dollar store junk, 8 dollar leather jackets that can be found for 4 dollars or a bunch of e-books that are not worth the time spent downloading them etc...

RoyalBLaze.com Will be a place for buyers to deal directly with businesses whether they be start up businesses or established in the marketplace. At this time everyone is welcome to sell on our site but will be required to make proper payment. We may in the future require business verification before establishing an account.

As stated in our original post we have not completed the site fully we do already have agreements with 3 Lingerie Manufactures & 2 Jewelry (this was our previous business venture) to sell their products and we will within the next 30 days have a fully operational auction site and intend to have a large marketplace for Lingerie, Shoes, Jewelry, perfumes, and other items related to women's fashion.

As far as a 10,000 listing criteria this will be met within a few weeks

We are not your back yard auction site looking to scrape up every penny possible or trying to give away our services just to have a popular website.

We are a legitimate business and will function as such.

If fees are low or do not exist anyone with a computer would be able to participate in the auctions which of course would lead to all the fraudulent users to sign up, rip a few people off then find another free auction service to try again. And we also do not see the point in running a site with little to no fees, surely you can probably make a few bucks but the items quality will be degraded just for being on the site. We would rather have 10 Quality sellers than 10,000 sellers of junk.

We would like to avoid all of the users with their e-books, dollar store items, drop ship lists, get rich quick schemes etc...

Will we allow them on our site? Yes, but if they have to pay fees for selling the items they are hopefully more likely to be legit.

At first our site will mainly be us selling Lingerie and the other items noted above(attracting buyers)

We fully understand that for sellers to come we must be able to deliver buyers.

Please don't take this as us trying to defend ourselves or that we are offended by any remarks we definitely appreciate and welcome all comments or feedback, just trying to give our outlook and the direction that we would like to go in... If it works for us great, if not than oh well we gave it a try.

BTW we are upping the anti with a few of these :psulove: :psulove: :psulove: and one of

Have a Blazing Day!
Frank

Although I still believe your fees to be extrememly high when you right now have, IMO, no buyers to offer making your fees reasonable, I sincerely commend you on how you have handled the replies to your post.

Feedback is very important to us and we believe in always going above and beyond customer, supporters, & partners expectations.

To show our support (and for our own benefit) for the PSU community we are extending an offer to the first 25 (we may extend this offer to more users depending on popularity) Sellers that show interest in assisting in evolving royalblaze.com.

What this offer consists of

Lifetime Membership In our Preferred Seller Program (pay absolutely 0 fees) Including but not limited to insertion fees, end of auction fees, listing upgrades, store fees etc... When we say 0 fees we mean 0 fees.

Free Banner Advertisement (rotating banners near the bottom of the page).
Banners will be approved at the sole discretion of the RoyalBlaze Staff we will not accept banners for other auction sites or banners adult in nature.

We will not allow adult oriented listings (due to hosting and payment processor restrictions).

We are checking to ensure that we can offer you an e-mail address ***@royalblaze.com if it is secure enough we will do so.

What we ask in return:
You must remain active on our site: Anyone with no activity for a period of 30 days will be considered inactive and removed from the program.

Active is defined as: having at least 1 active listing or at least 1 purchased item in any 30 day period.

(you will not be monitored on the activities listed below and they are not a requirement but would be appreciated)

We are asking for your assistance on a voluntary basis.

Your support for royalblaze.com including providing us feedback and bug reports.

Assisting in the forums answering questions for potential customer and current customers alike.

Assist in advertising RoyalBlaze.com

Reporting any security risks

Reporting any policy violation such as adult content or illegal sales

To Qualify you must register at royalblaze.com
Send me an E-mail at ILOVEPSU@royalblaze.com with the username that you registered on royalblaze.com.

We will then sign you up for our preferred sellers program and e-mail you confirmation outlining the same details as above.

Again the only requirment is to stay active as outline above.

We are looking at the possibilities of an affiliate program in the near future.

For example purposes only: The preferred seller program is 49.99 a month for each referral the person who referred that user would receive 10.00 a month for the life of that customer's account...

Thank you in advance for any assistance and we look forward to future endeavors.

How would you handle this -- I have my listings up, but never get any sales ??

That is not theoretical, as that situation is exactly what I've experienced at 3 or 4 sites. I've been on the sites for 3-8 mts yet have not sold a thing on those sites. Jan - May should be my hot time for sales of my items and I have done well this year on some sites, but not all sites.

The question is moote for me tho as your site is Php and I won't do any more of those sites. They just don't work well for me.

My response would be:

We are providing a service, we can not guarantee your success nor do we imply that you are suddenly going to make money by listing your auctions or store items on our site...

As with any site it is the sellers responsibility to promote thier items.
Although we will promote as much as possible we can not guarantee sales.
We can guarantee that we will take all suggestions seriously and change whatever neccesary to assist our customers growth...

I Haven't asked my hosting company why I am not gianing new customer's... I guess when people get use to "Ebay" having so much traffic they forget that this is not always the norm.

We will be doing extensive advertising in the near future but again can not gurantee any personal growth for any individual...

Although it is in our best interest for everyone to be successful and we will do whatever we can to assist in thier growth it depends on the products they are selling, how they are listing those products and an amplitude of other factors regarding that individual....

Yes you will probably have less sales on any other auction site other than Ebay but will that higher amount of sales bring in bigger profits? Probably not as the auction service provider would end up with the money.

I understand your concerns with php and can appreciate them...
I just wanted to say that I have read alot of concerns with the bulk lister aspect and wanted to point out that I just got word that the issues should be corrected by the end of the month as they are due to release a new version of the lister....

Right now the only issue I have found is that when importing a CSV file that the shipping cost is duplicated into the insurance field so that would have to be corrected on each listing before uploading....

I am really not trying to convince anyone that this is the best place to advertise your items. I understand there are 100's of kids out there that have purchased the same software, I can guarantee that you will be dealing with professional customer oriented individuals with a business sense that will make the best decisions concerning our customers.

I am saying however that we are an additional sales avenue to promote your items, the more places you have your items the greater chance of a sale in most cases.

Please ignore the typo's punctuation and misspellings, It's been a long night..

Have a great day everyone and again we appreciate the feedback and look forward to more...

Is there a better software solution out there?

I have searched extensively and have found alot of generic or way overpriced (It worries me to spend 400-1000 dollars end up with junk)products that do not offer nearly the same features?

Any suggestions would be appreciated...
Thank you again...

I'm not crazy over PHP-Pro, either. It has a lot of bells and whistles you can get, but also a lot of problems. Rscript is a better, more stable software, IMHO, from a seller standpoint. BNS and BidUpToday use this software, to name two.

I have to manipulate most of my templates from SellerSourceBook to display certain items carefully. For instance, if the template uses this HTML command <center></center> PHP-Pro ignores it and it goes flush left for the object -- in this case my business logo. So I have go in and change the HTML for the template to <div></div> It seems like a little thing but to a seller and you want things to look right and sit right, it's annoying and time-consuming, especially if you're on several PHP-Pro sites, like I am.

I don't have this problem with the Rscript software. However the template is written it displays correctly.

I'm willing to try your site to see what happens.
