I've been working to generate an invoice for almost 2 days now. Is anyone else having this issue? The buyer has also tried to use the 'send money' feature, and can't....
Just wanting to see if it's only me/us or if others are also having issues! TIA!! :roll: :roll: :cry: |

Erin,
Yes, I've been experiencing similar problems.
Yesterday I was getting a "technical difficulties" message when trying to use one of my PayPal invoice templates - I was able to work around it by sending a simple old fashioned request for money via PayPal.
Also - A couple people said they were having issues paying me, none of them were very clear what their work-around was
Lastly - two of my trasnactions had issues when using PayPal shipping - the addresses were simply not being auto-filled and I had to manually put them in - the PayPal error message was that my eBay account was not linked.... of course it is and has been forever, nothing's changed
So you're not alone - I'm experiencing problems too... but WE are alone is in our desolate existence awaiting their "customer service" or lack thereof.

I was able to use the money request function, but still can't generate an invoice - urgh.....
Here's the message I get:
We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account Overview before resending a payment.
Message 3005

same here... about the same amount of days for me too - if others aren't getting the problem, then maybe it is a localized thing. I have to send a couple more invoices today after some listings end, will report if all went well or not

Marty:
I (most likely me...) didn't see a place to actually report the issue. I also didn't see a place where PP provides updates when there are system issues! If you can point me when you do your 'thing' today, I'll also gladly report it - just didn't know how to do so!!

Well Erin... I'm still getting the same problem, and i tried several workarounds that just dont seem to be working around lol... still getting the error message:

I know they say not to do this... but I went ahead and complained twice. I know this might mean I get 2 (count 'em TWO!) canned emails from their "customer service" team...
Anyway, I clicked on help in the top right of the page, then scrolled to the bottom left where it says "still having trouble? Contact Us" - then I chose sellers tools as form number one to complain with and then auction tools as the second form to complain with
and I also let them know that I do not need the standard "dummy" communication that recommends I clear my cache, etc

It may be working now...I generated a 'fake' invoice to myself, and it appears to go thru!
