Bidpay-->Costs: USA [2.5% + $0.50/txn]

PayPal-->2.9% + $0.30 USD

To receive a payment for one of my cookbooks,
I would pay Bidpay $0.66 and PayPal $0.48.

I go where my bottom line is in my favor.

when evaluating any online payment service, you also have to look at the transaction dollar limit allowable per month. do they make you upgrade to a business-type account if you want to accept a higher limit? if so, what is the fee? that's another problem some power sellers i know have had with paypal.

Let's not go there.

If you are buying merchandise and then reselling it anywhere be it a flea market or online venue, then you are a BUSINESS...point blank.

If you are a business, then you should have a BUSINESS account with any pay service.

You should file a schedule C on your income taxes. All that goes along with buying merchandise and then reselling it.

Let's have a level playing field.

By not having a business PayPal account, you are cheating the system, cheating other sellers causing them to pay "your fees" that you are cheating out of, and going down a bad business path IMO.
