|
|
Have you guys heard this? I was just reading on the ebay chat boards and someone was saying that ebay is offering free stores to the sellers on their ebay china site. Can anyone confirm this? If so, what an outrage? Basically they are overcharging us to fund China. Tisk, tisk.
BTW, you guys should read some of the stuff these ebayers have the stones to say on ebay's own site. I have never really read the community boards before, but after yesterday's announcement I thought it might be interesting to read what people are saying. I am surprised at some of the things these people are saying, it is truly awesome. My guess is that most of them have never been suspended and are unaware at just how easily it can be done. It takes some stones. |

| I am sure if one or two people where saying it they would be suspended or the post would be deleted but if everyone is doing it what can ebay do. Safety in Numbers :) |

Hey, I've been posting to the "stores" board for the past two nights
and saying exactly what I want to say and don't give a damn if they
suspend me! I don't sell on Ebay any more so not like I'm quaking in
my boots if they want to can that ID -- hell, I'll just create another one
if they do. I just use one to buy with very occasionally and they don't
seem to give a flip if you're buying.
If Ebay doesn't get a clue from the uproar just how much they have
really really really really pissed people off this time, then they're even
more clueless than I thought possible (and that's a pretty low bar to
limbo under, let me tell you). |

The listings do show on the US ebay.com site.
I wonder if it's possible and legal to register on the eBay.com.sg site? We've seen numerous sellers from China registering on the US after all. |

envirobay a lot of posters over there might be using alternative registered names while bashing the site..But, do you really think ebay gives a XXX as to what the sellers are saying?
Just look to what they've done to the ebay store owners  |

I believe you can only register with a local address and you have to take your payments in local currency.
I love the stores board. Some of the smartest e-commerce people on the planet post there. |

I can't believe that.... china's stores are free, china's insertion fees are none, china's fvf are waived. That is a bunch of crap if I ever saw any.

And yes, elgato, I agree... Ebay doesn't give a rat's a$$ what their sellers think. Obviously.
I feel so betrayed. |

You can put auction in ebay.sg, there no fee. But this auction cannot be see in the us search.
You have to do this:
1) Make a private auction, with a terrible price, in ebay.com to attrack customer. (on this auction, say come to see my others auctions).
2) Put auctions in ebay.sg, (or others ebay free auction), on this auction no fee, no final fee !!!!!!!!!!
Conclusion: You have to attrack customer, to come in your account, after they see all your auction.
Check, i remember, Ebay free auction (Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Sweden, Philippines) (maybe some have change now) |

| anti_ebay, when you do that do you know if the auctions listed on the free site show up when someone is viewing your store pages on ebay.com? Or would you have to make your own gallery of singapore auctions for example? |

When a customer come to your auction on ebay.com, he can see all yours auctions you have.
Put one auction with attractive price on ebay.com, and put all the others auctions in ebay.sg. And ask the customer come on your auction in ebay.com to make a look on your others auctions.
You pay the fee for only 1 auction in ebay.com, and you sell the others auction without any fee. |

| You're not only betrayed, but you're also paying for eBay's failed attempts in China. The Chinese are also buying $100,000 apartments, lots of them, from yet another report on CNBC the other day. It looks like as our lifestyle in the U.S. keeps going downhill our big companies are making sure that the Chinese lifestyle goes way up. Don't you love it when U.S. companies do this? |

Like most new online auction sites--Ebay is attempting to lure new registerd users into it's site abroad.
Fear not amigos, once ebay gains ground among the Chinese and the rest of the world----It's user will pay dearly for the ebay services
Or least us AMERICAN users can hope 8) |

Of course they will. They are like a drug dealer, giving it away at first. Then once they get you hooked, they start jacking the price. Once they get China hooked on ebay, you know they will screw them just as hard. It does make me mad that they are using our funds, raising our fees to give it away over there.
China pisses me off! Not the people. I don't blame them. What really pisses me off are our politicians and corporate leaders who have all sold us out for years. Bilderberg group is bad news!!! |
