Yes, I think the AUS folks got hit even harder than we did, as they got store prices increased as well. Stupid stupid eBay.
Thanks for the link! |

| Thanks for the link. I just signed the petition. Not that it really matters. We all know that ebay doesn't give a rat's a$$ what we think. They do as the wish, and that's that. :( |

the auction only sellers should also be very
worried as it looks like e Bay is adding more
and more advertising to people's pages but
that look random as have not seen much of
that yet.
Remember the issue is not just the fee hike
for the stores it is the fee hike with all the
very questionable things they have and
are currently doing.
I wonder why one does not see more posts
in the other e threads, maybe because e is
keeping most of them out ?
And the auction sellers I bet will be the next
victims of a big hike, especially those who
use the Fixed Price and the BuyItNow.
My opinions. |

eeedoggies,
yes the last auction fees were way too outrageous
for me. But am sure they have more plans and
figured they would upset the store owners first
so that the whole "community" was no as upset.
So I think everyone needs to push not just
this new latest hike but the last one but in
combination with all the very questionable
things they have done the last few years. |

someone over on the stores forum over there
is hinting about the big G. Anyone know what
that might be. Hopefully Google auctions or
a store? |

Go to Google, click on groups, use the search term "auctionplease".
It is a group asking Google to create an auction site. People can join and post a message. |

Could be to our advantage, or disadvantage!
Hopefully they would create something that would have crisp-clean and fully functioning features, but with fair fees. I wouldn't be surprised if they are already working on something, and have been for a while. After they released Google Checkout I wondered "are they setting up the cash registers before stocking the store?". It would make logical sense to have the backend working before working on the front-end...unless you work for you-know-who!

someone just mentioned something in a forum
and of course that is how it will probably work if
they do this, and sure seems likely as why not.
Google already has the Google Base and Google
Checkout and thus all they need to do is allow
buyers to buy different items from them through a
Google Cart system and have a nice clean simple
interface for Google Stores.
Surely this could be right around the corner ???
Sure hope so. |

anti_ebay,
was looking at your page for new entries
and saw a great idea you all are putting
together over there and that is combining
all the petitions for one very big global
petition. Sounds terrific!!! I know there
were a lot of different sites setup doing this
and if you could contact all of them to do
this ...
Also maybe the petition could also be geared
to push Google if they are not already going
to do the Google "Cart" thus Google "Stores.
And a petition for them to do auctions as well.
At this time, I am think that Google had a great
deal to do with the direction e Bay is going in
right now as I imagine they are quite spooked
by now and are attempting to hang on to what
they started with and that is auctions as they
probably figured out or have inside information
of Google's plans (if true) about
Google Base + Google Checkout + Google Cart = Google Stores
And the best day for everyone would be if they
then went on and did Google Auctions. I bet
many would leave in droves from eBay to
Google Stores and Google Auctions. |
