First I would like to welcome all the new members we have been getting. Since eBay announced their store fee increase we have gotten a surge of visitors. I hope everyone has gain and shared some of the useful information on this site. From reading in the forums you have probably discovered there are a lot of other places to sell besides eBay. We have many knowledgable people on this site so if you ever have a question just ask.
Auction Site Count
We have recently added hibidder to the auction site count.
Soon we will be adding
au.ebid.tv and wagglepop since it has reached the 10,000 listing mark and I am interested in tracking its growth since the recent fee hike.
PSU Stores and Web Hosting
As many of you know we have been privately testing our PSU Stores and Web hosting for a while now. I happy to announce that we are expecting to have a public launch on Monday. It’s always a good feeling to sell your products on an auction site even better when it’s not on ebay. But it’s a great feeling to sell a product on your own web site. Many of the alternative auction sites out their even allow you to link to your own site unlike eBay. |

I'll be curious to see the flow of goods on and off of Wagglepop
myself. The site count chart is one of my favorite things here on
PSU!
One thing I've always been curious about though was why iOffer
isn't one of the sites tracked. I know it's not an auction site per
se but neither of BluJay or Ecrater. Just random curiousity from
an atrophied mind.......... |

Gaelictitca, I happened to catch your Wagglepop report, it was phenomenal!
I have a question about the stores. Are they set up to a point where a person who is seriously lacking in any and all technical abilities could actually open one and stock the shelves? Like with templates, listing forms, photo hosting?
I am still not sure what I am doing over the latest feebay increase, but I am trying to figure it all out! |

Kathy,
You would be better off here with a PSU store. The only expense you would have would be the monthly hosting fee.
And you would have people that could help you when you need it. |

PKC...I just signed up for my new PSU store today. I'm waiting for the DNS to register so that I can get started. I will be taking you up on your kind offer of assistance shortly. I'm a little lost right now trying to figure out exactly what I need to do... :) |

Kathy,
Welcome to PSU.
I have to have help no way can I do a store without it. On PSU help has come. And it is still coming. I closed my ebay store in 05 when the fee increase came. I kept saying there is more and it is to run the small seller off. I am small.
So I spent a year trying different sites. When PSU said store beta I said oh good that will be my new home.
I was no help with the beta, because of my lack of knowledge. It just feels good to be here after a year of hopping. I am pinecone64.com but nothing there yet...it is coming pkc is helping me to get the home page up now.
You can pm me if you need any info or just a shoulder to cry on or a Grandma to talk to.
We all want everyone on this site to succeed.
Happy TRAILS TO YOU
pinecone64.com
oh that felt good even if nothing is there for me to sale or show................. |

Snappers,
You got a great deal and PSU and Paul are great with support. Don't worry about a thing. You'll be up and going in no time.
PSU picked a great product that's pretty easy to learn and get along with.
Happy selling! Enjoy your freedom from eBay!
Breathe the free air, my friend!

Now my little ole PSU web store (ELGATOSDEN.COM) is only a mere 5 months old and this Cat is shocked beyond beleeef that it wasn't already LIVE :D
No other online auction site or online classified ad site has generated as much traffic as my humble ELGATOSDEN.COM store here at PSU :?
Very happy to see us (PSU STORES) live and can't wait until this Cat can generate a few more online sales through my own web store without having to pay HUGE fees to ebay
I personally rather give a few $ each month to PSU for my own web store (and promote my own store) than I would pay a dime to ebay, any day!!!!!!!!!!
Plus be me own boss and not a mere overpriced seller on ebay!
Thanks for the update boss!
