Hi...
I'm fairly new with ecrater & have just begun building & uploading to 2 sites. No problem - seems to be a fairly straightforward process & I 'm finding the site well suited to my needs.
I've always kind of felt that most of the time (with the glowing exception of ebay) you get what you pay for. Which leaves me wondering what the long term agenda for ecrater might be. I mean, free bandwidth for the homeless is a wonderful thing, but I guess what I'm looking for is some idea whats coming down the road. Or maybe i'm just gun shy after falling for the ebaystores hype. Any insights would be appreciated.
On a related note - I found ecrater by lurking here on the PSU boards. In fact, until 2 weeks ago I thought an ecrater was a small hairy fish. My thanks to all here for an outstanding site. If I ever get ebays hands out of my pocket I may even make a donation someday. 8)

Rad - only time will tell what's next! I'm almost positive eCrater has a forum - this question and the 'next steps' for that site might get a faster, more accurate answer 'there' vs. 'here'...
PSU has been a god-send for me! There's so much I learned here, I can't even put a price tag on it...
Glad you're here and best of luck @ eCrater! Someone more active than I from there might come along and see this and know something!!

I have been with ecrater.com since March 2005. I have 5 maybe 6 stores there now.
From what I have been told by the founder of ecrater.com there is no plan to ever charge for using the site.
His dream is to compete with Amazon and remain totally free. |
