Hey everyone. I just signed up here, I wish I had sooner.
I have a protest auction on eBay about the fee hike. They have pulled hundreds of them but mine is in no violation and I have got alot of media attention for it. Please check it out and watch the auction :)
7,400 hits, up to $1325.00 and 690 watchers. Also was on the pulse for days, then it magically went away until many ebay members got upset driving up the hits and watchers overnight.

Hi and welcome Beavinsons,
I am watching your auction everyday. And
with you being a PESA member many of us
are hoping you can do all you can to get the
news out. There are so many problems with
the random items showing then not showing
then all the accounting issues where people are
being charged for things they did not select.
The list is enormous. I hope you will try to
get a very big list put together. I and many
others on this site has listed quite a few of them.
Wishing you the very best and hope your endeavor
is successful.
We need a strong leader. |

Hi,
Need more GrassRoots Powersellers like you challenging the bigwigs strategy to balance the site. I was under the impretion that the Stores were used to supplement the Auctions and not be a burden on the Auctions.
Saw your aution, and as far as I could see, it looked like everything was cleverly within eBay's policies.
I could see you as a CEO to bring back balance and fun to eBay. LOL Chuck |

| I've just got to say WELCOME to such a creative spirit! :D  :D I'm an eBay refugee from the 2005 price hike and I'm so glad that FINALLY eBay has pushed the envelope too hard. Maybe some things will change there...and maybe not...but at least you are making it entertaining. |

Greetings!
I have had it on my watch list since it showed up on the stores board. Sorry, my depleted bank account will not allow me to bid :(
You are MY HERO!! 8)
It is very refreshing that someone greedbay might actually pay attention to is standing up. If all the powersellers did this, maybe they might start taking a long hard look at the total mess they have made of a thriving business that people loved. Now we are leaving in droves and I am sure everyone is rethinking their business plan and venues ( I certainly am :D )
After reading their "corporate code" I felt queasy as they have broken EVERY single one

Just a quick note for thought to parallel this with other moves eBay tried. About a year ago, after HalfDot was aquired by greedBay. Ebay wanted to charge insertion fees to all book sellers.
Please note, traditionally book sites have not charged per item but just charged monthly fees and commissions. The move to do this did not happen since many BIG book sellers said they would pull their books.
I personally feel the eBay PigWigs approached the Balance of eBay the wrong way. I can think of many positive ways they could have maintained balance...
Disclaimer, I do not support HalfDot as a premo place to do business. I list on other sites and directly that are more profitable than HalfDot... |

Beavinsons,
Hope you will address with the press that it
is not just the fee increase it is the combination
of the fee hike with paying for items and then
having then hidden randomly and people paying
for services they did not select and the many
times people have had their invoices way too
high and do not have money in their bank
account to pay because it was wrong and then
they have to pay the bank for an overdraft.
And this is just a few things to get out to the
public. The manipulation of items being shown
just like your item being hidden from the Pulse
is outrageous. People pay for a service and
expect that service to be supplied and not to
pay for services one did not select.
Also contact Jim Cramer a well known stock
guy who said not that long ago
"
'eBay is just awful. eBay should put the whole company on eBay. ... overpaid for Skype, overpaid for PayPal. Meanwhile, Meg Whitman is the Teflon Don.'

Find the au post in the eBay stores forum
