| Just wondering if anyone has done this. The 30 min charge + 3% really takes a bite out of low priced items. |

| Can you elaborate? Don't understand why this would make any difference and to my knowledge, you can only have one account. |

| You could have a family member set up an account that only accepts verified payments from peoples accounts which are non credit card funded. Receiving payments is supposed to be free this way unless they have changed their rules on this. I didn't realize you couldn't have another account but Im pretty sure you're right. The confusion on the buyers part may not be worth the effort here and my idea might be against rules so im not recomending it to anyone. |

| Not enough coffee this morning! I see what you mean. It might work for awhile having a non-businees account, but I would think PP would catch on pretty quick. JMO The way I see it, with the lower fees on alternatives, it does help in paying the PP fees. "Pushing" your buyer to make multiple purchases with one combined payment to save on postage will make the fees easier to swallow also. |

Hello,
I'm new here. I just registered, but I've been "lurking" here since the fee increase was announced at eBay. This is a great site with lots of great info.
Now to get back on the topic ... I have two PayPal accounts and it is allowed by PayPal. I have a business account just for my business and a separate (premier) account for my personal buying and selling.
Here is what it says on PayPal.
Can I have multiple PayPal accounts?
Yes. PayPal members may have one Personal account and one Premier or Business account. You can add additional email addresses, credit cards and debit cards, and bank accounts to your Personal, Premier or Business account. However, each account must have its own email address and financial information. If only one account is needed you may also upgrade from a Personal account to a Premier or Business account.
This works out great for me because I don't want to mix my business transactions with the account that I sell my own personal items on.
