Just to let you know there is a petition to kick Bill and Meg out.
They did not give a rats bum about the incomes destroyed for thousands of families. Time to kick them off the deckchairs on the Titanic!

| Now that is a petition worth signing. Better than a seller fee protest petition. Something like this could get the attention of the shareholders. |

| I agree with you all -- perhaps 'this' will get more attention than the previous attempts to 'shout loudly'!!! :D :D |

| Do you honestly believe it is her fault...totally??? Don't think so....she's doing what the rest of management and the stockholders want her to do. She doesn't have Carte Blanche to do whatever she wants. She has to run her ideas past the big wigs. If they say go with it, she does. So anyone else that replaced her would be just as bad.....as long as the other big boys are still in place! |

According to the "investors meeting" audio Meg told investors that store sellers must not be as unhappy with the Fee Hikes this time since she's received only 15 emails. Back in February she says she rec'd thousands that were unhappy and complaining.
Listen here:

Click on Aug 1 Investor visit....the remark is about 25 minutes into the conversation. At points it cuts out in the beginning and you have to wait or fast forward to listen to all of the questions and answers.

Agree - Nutmeg does need to wake up and smell the coffee!!
I agree that Meg may not be solely responsible, but a leader should know when those below them and next to them are feeding them 'smoke/mirrors' - if they have any working knowledge of what they're leading. She is responsible, as the messenger to the stockholders and BOD - that's the traditional management hierarchy. They align with her and vote in support of her recommendations, as she is the only/one of the only that shares the 'state of the union or 'supposed facts' by which they determine decisions.
Those who are making decisions are obviously not fully aware of the reality of the business operations, the landscape of the market and the changing / aging or this market. To manage the business, Meg does rely on data/info. from others - I agree. But - if she's a good leader, she can read between the lines, and filter out the BS that doesn't align with the market data...
Just my opinion - to suggest she's not responsible (based on what she's paid and her level of authority) doesn't make sense to me - based on my business experience! |

I think the lack of emails only means that everyone already knows that it's useless to bother to email Bill or Meg.
All they would have to do is read their own boards for 10 minutes to see the level of disgust with them.
That makes me think of that commercial right now with the "small business" guy trying to hype his plan to the BIG BANK. He's a mini on the desktop and the head of the bank reminds me of Lionel Berrymore in "It's a wonderful Life".
Unfortunately that's what eBay management thinks of US.

Ah, so very true. If it was up to investors, there would never be a discount day. These days are actually frowned upon in the investment world as they (obviously) mean lost profits.
I think people need to move on from trying to sink eBay, or bash it, and just do what tehy can to survive. Work on your own websites, perhaps an alternative site is what works for you or maybe you still need to use eBay to get sales. Whatever your plan is, move on with that. The petitions, boycotts, protests... they go nowhere. What really makes a difference is when eBay is no longer a practical environment for a seller, and they legitimately move on for good, bringing their customers with them.
Even if eBay (somehow) is affected positively by your move off the site, does it really matter? Wouldn't you rather run a solid business, rather than worry about a grudge or making sure you're the one to deliver the deserved fate of eBay execs to them?
This petition, like so many others, will likely fail.
Good luck everyone, times are gettin' a little tougher in the 'Bay. |

| I agree 100% with you, Round. I didn't even bother to sign this petition, although I thought it was kind of interesting, as noted above. It's time to get down to business -- advertise it, work it, build it -- and let the powers at Ebay do what they will. |
