I actually went to both those places, but they looked 'scary' so I backed out, put my thinking cap on and figured out how to use the FTP at the place I'd ALREADY signed up with. (go daddy)
I've lost so many computers, and I'm always so scared to download anything or read anything,.. it really holds me back alot,...but even still, this computer I am using right now is less than 6 months old after having my last one simply become overun and crash,....
I did download AVAST, and that makes me feel a little better, but not much,....when it's too late it's too late. Good grief! Am I a cynic or what! |

Another two you might want to check out for FTP Client Programs are Smart FTP and WS FTP Pro.

I also use AceFTP3.
It's free and works great.
Once you get it set up, it gives you a divided window with the PC files on the left and the host files on the right. Hilight the ones you want to move and press an arrow and you can move files from PC--> Host or PC <-- Host.
You can move hundreds at one time if you wish. |

I like Filezilla too and I've tried several others (coffeeftp, emftp, ws_ftp, fireftp, etc).
Filezilla is fast, easy, and I haven't had any disconnect problems like I did with the others. Have moved hundreds of files at a time with it.
And it's free. :mrgreen:

I have been working with websites for over 15 years and the only one I will use is WSFTP. This is not a paid Ad. HAHA
I have tried others and always go back to WSFTP.
Remember, You get what you pay for..
